With the launch of this website, the leadership of ARCSA recognizes that members are our most important asset. By tapping into the wealth of knowledge resident in our membership, we will create a website that is timely, vibrant, interesting, thoughtprovoking and valuable. Among the many Member benefits is an informative, timely quarterly newsletter written by ARCSA members, that you can sample by
clicking on this link. One one of the ways we will bring value is through our
Member-Only Forums - an indispensable resource that is uniquely capable of gathering the collective knowledge of the most knowledgeable rainwater harvesters in the world.
When you seek a professional, you look for a nationally recognized standard accepted by industry leaders. An ARCSA Accredited Professional (AP) has achieved the only nationally recognized rainwater-harvesting credential, which tells consumers and regulators that they have been screened, taught and tested by the best in the business. Not resting on our accomplishments, we will soon be offering members specialized 300- level workshops and “Post Graduate” recognition as Certified Professionals.
What is an ARCSA Certified Professional?
ARCSA is working toward the creation of an elevated category of rainwater-harvesting professional that would communicate to the consumer that the so-designated rainwater-harvesting professional has fulfilled at least 48 hours of "post-graduate" work and other requirements beyond that required for Accredited Professionals. The syllabus is being created as this is written, and we already have a number of ARCSA Accredited Professionals who have achieved 20 hours toward those 48 hours by virtue of having attended the "2010 Rainwater Harvesting Training Camp" organized and hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension at the Junction, Texas campus of Texas Tech University between August 16 and 20, 2010.
