Rainwater HOG installed this project under a deck by Tzannes Associates for a residential remodel in Mosman, Australia. Average annual rainfall for the area is 46 inches. Seventeen Rainwater HOGs were originally installed with LeafEater filters to allow for all rear garden to be rainwater-irrigated. The current HOG setup is now 6 vertical HOGs providing 300 gallons for the front garden, and 11 horizontal HOGs with pump using 550 gallons of rain storage to drip the rear garden. When the laundry is refurbished in phase 2 of the remodeling, the vertical HOGs will be extended along the sidewall to increase the capacity for internal use and a separate pump and top up valve will be added.
