CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
Exam Fee: $230.00
This fee is good for the ASSE Certification Exam for the ARCSA RWH Designer, Installer, or the Inspector Certification. Each will require a fee and the cost is the same for all three exams. For example, if you want two certifications (Designer and Installer) you will need two exams. The Recertification exam fee is included in the Recertification online class fee and not this item. Once you have completed an online workshop/class you have 6 months to take the related certification exam with ASSE. This two-day professional workshop is an in-depth rainwater harvesting course that provides the 16 hours of subject-specific classroom training required to sit for the ASSE Series 21120 Rainwater Catchment Systems Designer Certification exam.
ARCSA’s flagship training provides attendees information the following topics: active and passive rainwater harvesting, system components, design for both outdoor and in-home or business rainwater use, sanitation for potable uses, rules and regulations, guidelines, business management, project planning, site planning and installation, safety, system construction, and maintenance.
In this classroom workshop you will be guided through the subjects typically by two experienced instructors that will answer questions and encourage discussions to provide various system scenarios in order to expand your design and implementation thought process.
Registrants receive the recently revised ARCSA Rain Harvesting Manual, which has been expanded to include all of North America.
Passing the Designer Certification Exam requires reading the entire ARCSA Rain Harvesting Manual in addition to the classroom workshop. Once a Workshop has been completed a student will have 6 months to take the associated ASSE Certification Exam.

This two-day professional workshop is an in-depth rainwater catchments systems installation course that provides the 16 hours of subject-specific training required to sit for the ASSE Series 21110 Rainwater Catchment Systems Installer Certification exam.
The workshop combines four hours of in-classroom work and 12 hours of hands-on field work. Additionally, the students in this workshop will work through (in the form of an in-class activity) a real-life rainwater catchment system scenario prior to the field work. The field work will entail the review and assembly of five types of rainwater catchment projects. (Projects may vary slightly based on the facility hosting the training.) Passing the Installer Certification Exam requires attending a workshop and reading Chapters 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, and 16, along with Appendices A.2 and A.3, of the ARCSA Rainwater Harvesting Manual as well as all of the Plumbing Engineering and Design Standard ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013. However, we recommend you read the entire ARCSA Rain Harvesting Manual for your own knowledge and to provide context.
Please note: The Manual is not included as part of the cost of the Installers Workshop. It is anticipated that a student will typically take the Designer Workshop first where the Manual is provided as part of the workshop cost. This workshop fees pay for instruction and supplies for assembling class systems. Once a Workshop has been completed a student will have 6 months to take the associated ASSE Certification Exam.

This one-day professional workshop is an in-depth rainwater catchments systems inspection course that provides 8 hours of subject-specific training in preparation for the ASSE Series 21130 Rainwater Catchment Systems Inspector Certification exam.
The workshop combines four hours of in-classroom work and four hours of hands-on field work. The in-classroom time will be spent reviewing rainwater catchment system components, a typical inspection checklist, and things to look for in systems that could be inappropriate, concerning, or even dangerous. Passing the Installer Certification Exam requires attending the Installer Workshop and reading, at minimum, Chapters 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 19 of the ARCSA Rainwater Harvesting Manual, as well as the Plumbing Engineering and Design Standards ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013: Rainwater Catchment Systems and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 78-2015: Stormwater Harvesting Systems Design for Direct End-Use Applications.
We do recommend you read the entire ARCSA Rain Harvesting Manual for your own knowledge and for context. The ARCSA Rainwater Harvesting Manual is an additional cost to the Workshop and can be purchased on the ARCSA.org website. It is anticipated that a student will typically take the Designer Workshop first where the Manual is provided as part of the workshop cost.
This workshop fees will include both the ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI standards, a basic system components diagram, and typical inspection checklists. Once a Workshop has been completed a student will have 6 months to take the associated ASSE Certification Exam.

This one-day professional workshop is an in-depth rainwater catchments systems inspection online video-based course that provides 8-hours of subject-specific training specific to the ASSE Series 21130 Rainwater Catchment Systems Inspector Professional Qualification Standard. The workshop combines four (4) hours of in-classroom work by way of videos and four (4) hours of hands-on field work in the form interactive online activities. The in-classroom time will be spent reviewing rainwater catchment system components, a typical inspection checklist, and things to look for in systems that could be inappropriate, concerning, or even dangerous. Once the Workshop has been completed access to the content remains for 6 months after the date of purchase. If the learner wishes to sit for the exam, you must do so within 6-months of completing the course, paying additional exam fee, and attest that you meet the minimum two (2) years of experience in rainwater catchment, plumbing, piping, irrigation, or a related industry field or profession.
You will need to repurchase the course if you do not complete it within the six-month of purchase.

If certified to more than one ASSE 21000 PQ Standard, this course qualifies for renewing one or all three ASSE 21000 certifications, one course, one exam, renews ASSE 21110, 21120 and/or 21130.
You will have 30 days to complete this course. This Rainwater Catchment Systems Recertification Workshop is an in-depth rainwater catchments systems recertification course that provides 4 hours of online, subject-specific, training in preparation for the ASSE 21000 Series Rainwater Catchment Systems Designer, Installer, and Inspector Recertification exams. It is anticipated that the student will additionally review their ARCSA Rainwater Harvesting Manual, the Plumbing Engineering and Design Standards ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013: Rainwater Catchment Systems, and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 78-2015: Stormwater Harvesting Systems Design for Direct End-Use Applications.
The ARCSA Rainwater Harvesting Manual and design standards are an additional cost to this Workshop and can be purchased on the ARCSA Store.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation requests received two weeks prior to the start of an event will receive a full refund less a $50 processing fee. In lieu of cancelling, you may choose to substitute another person for your registration for a $10 processing fee. ARCSA reserves the right to make changes to event programs and speakers and/or to cancel events due to circumstances beyond its control. Every effort will be made to contact each enrollee if an event is cancelled. ARCSA’s liability for a cancelled event is limited to the refund of the program fee only or substitution/enrollment in another ARCSA workshop. By registering for an event, the registrant signifies his or her acceptance of this policy.
